Introduction
The Applied Hacking & Intrusion Prevention Master Class is a follow up course to the hugely popular Applied Hacking & Intrusion Prevention. The course is designed to expand the scope of the original course providing all the skills required to audit the internal network as well as the externally facing devices.
The course is a hands-on hacking experience using tools and techniques as used by malicious intruders and experienced hackers. During the course each candidate will learn to attack a multitude of operating systems including Linux, Windows NT/2000/2003 and Solaris. Each segment of the course is concluded with a countermeasures session discussing how each attack could be circumvented.
Each candidate will be trained to use, and take away the tools used by a hacker. The tools provided are a collection of freely available, commercial and custom tools from the Master Class Exploit Arsenal, which are not available elsewhere.
New skills acquired after completing the advanced course:
- Perform Security auditing using enterprise class tools (provided)
- Attack Windows and Unix based operating systems
- Generate Security Audit Reports
- Using advance network mapping and application discovery techniques
- Perform advanced web application testing.
- Compromise systems using advance hacking techniques
- Protect network resources and business assets against the latest threats.
Prerequisites
The attendee should have completed the Applied Hacking & Intrusion prevention course or have equivalent experience.
