VASCO’s user authentication software is carried by an end-user on its Digipass products which are small ‘calculator’ hardware devices, or in a software format on mobile phones, other portable devices and PCs.
VASCO’s VACMAN products guarantee that only designated Digipass users get access to the application.
Digipass products range from small ‘calculator’ devices to smart-cards or EMV solutions, SIM cards, Java phones, PALM or pocket PCs, or alternatively Virtual Digipass – server based solution to provide strong authentication via SMS, pager or another delivery method.
VASCO’s time-based system generates a ‘one-time’ password that changes with every use, and is virtually impossible to hack or break.
VACMAN Controller is a toolkit that enables the validation of Digipass and EMV-CAP ‘one-time’ passwords and e-signatures, regardless of your preferred communications protocol, database management, operating system or graphical user interface. VACMAN Controller enables your applcation to implement virtual token functionality. In order to guarantee the integrity and privacy of the security keys, the VACMAN Controller can be combined with a wide range of hardware security modules.
